As far as I know I have not heard about such a configuration. If at all it is possible then I will also want to know about it. But my concern is related to the compatibility of the Mac OS X.
Is it possible to update the GPS GARMIN NUVI family for example, under Mac OS X.
If I am not mistaken, before Garmin, Tomtom was the only one that is MAC compatible? If anybody have related information then please reply.

Getting back to the news of the day, it is because they are finally beginning to get started. It is still more than a year they had announced the full compatibility of their software suite!
For more information, POI loader is not compatible with many Garmin GPS!
WebUpdate and can update the firmware of the GPS, then 1-2 times per year. So utilities have "minor errors" the user must always go through a PC for synchronizing its maps!

I have recently bought the Navirad then I contacted the importer asking him to contact the manufacturer of Navirad to be able to upgrade from a MAC. I managed to find the manufacturer and a driver MAC OS X and I managed to use a MACBOOK Navirad and a mapping program.

I restarted the manufacturers to get information to write a program to download the file points.
No response and getting total black out!

According to me the positioning of radar is not precise; the Navirad tells you "PASS" when the radar is not exceeded. Memorization of points is very brief because it was not possible to associate a speed. In some cases it does not know the meaning of movement which generates false alarms

I went to Paris to Cholet and back, I met at least two panel "Radar" which I have not been indicated by the Navirad
    Not great!

Move along, now you find the position of the radar GPS market and there are serious competitors to this product

The TomTom and Magellan USB mount on the desktop without drivers as a Mass Storage Device, and allow partial use more than correct on Mac without special software, simply by copying files. Most Garmin still have a serial port very slow and unreliable. But do not despair, one day Garmin will enter the next century. Hopefully this happens before 2101.
