The Logitech MX-518 is a mouse designed for gamers. The precision and grip round the MX-510 has been revised to provide better comfort to the players during the game. One of the strengths of the MX-518 is the desired aesthetic appearance. In fact, Logitech has used a holographic image with the effect of giving some denting to the mouse, revealing multiple bullet wounds.

I suggest you to take Microsoft Sidewinder X5 rather than Logitech MX518. Because there seems to be a number of reports in which the owners of MX-518 of mouse after several months of use, got Common symptoms like USB mouse defective or permanently frozen. The Microsoft Sidewinder X5 doesn't posses any frozen like Logitech MX518.

The Logitech MX518 acquire benefit of its new faceplate. A dark metallic silver color emerge to absorb light in different areas. What were once scrolling buttons have been substitute by sensitivity increase buttons, and right under them is the same tiresomely placed application switch button, which regrettably didn't stay in between the thumb buttons as was with Logitech MX1000 laser mouse.
