Macbook battery not recognized

Hello,
I have a problem, since yesterday the macbook battery no longer recognized. The battery seems to charge by the device which is above but it is not recognized by the computer. So, if you guys can help me with this then it would be great. Thanks in advance .

I have the same problem as you on my macbook black, AC is declared like this into the night yesterday to today, the Mac behaves as if it had no battery connected. I do not know what to do. I think the Take affected in my apple center tomorrow to change the battery. If you guys have any idea about this wired behavior of Macbook then please let me know.

These are few of the options that you can try.

1. If the computer is on, turn it off.
2. Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery from the computer.
3. Hold down the power button for 5 seconds then release it.
4. Replace the battery and reconnect the power adapter.
5. Press the power button to restart the computer.

I just had the same problem with my MBP 17 " . The 1st LED indication of charge level remains on and do 's arrested even more disconnected battery and laptop battery no longer detected. So, if you have a solution for this then it would be great. I have tried the solutions which are posted above, but non of them worked for me.

It's a problem that battery is dead (if there is an x in the battery icon), mine died after 2 days. The VAS has made me go around the zapping of PRAM and VRAM and then they'll have receptacle after another has worked smoothly since. If you go to the Apple website prolongation is documented in the pages including support and forums.
