Toshiba Satellite A505 S6980- Problems with built in microphone

I am having Toshiba Satellite A505 S6980 which is running with the Windows 7. I am having the problem with the internal microphone which is not working. I can hear the music on same without any issue. I have tried to install the driver for the same again but no help. So if there is any suggestion regarding my problem then suggest me for Toshiba Satellite A505 S6980- Problems with built in microphone . Thanks in advance.

Have you talk about the problem of your to the Toshiba? If not then first do the same and then work with other thing around. As they might have gone through this problem and having the better solution for this issue. So first thing you have to do is to take the help of the Toshiba Tech Support and the tell me whether the issue got resolved or not.

Did the same but they are taking time for giving me the solution of the same as they kept me on hold. So if possible the advice me as i have recently purchase and wanted to get rid of this issue.

Have you downloaded the latest driver for your device in which you are getting the problem with the Microphone? If not then first go to the Toshiba and then enter the model number of your device and download all the possible driver for your device. And check whether the issue still persist or not. Also check the link given for direct download.

Hey there, Here are some of the trick which i have done with my issue and it worked all fine so i am suggesting you to perform the same might help you to resolve your problem too.

• Click on Start
• Open Control Panel
• Click on Hardware and Sound
• Click Manage Audio Devices below Sound
• Go to the Recording tab
• You will see the Microphone icon
• Click on Properties
• Right click on front panel jack and disable

Thats it!!!!!!!!
