Hey it is very simple to do this if you are using Windows xp in your computer. It is very simple to see all drives available on my computer in windows xp. You have to just open My computer to see all drives available on my computer. Juts double click on the My Computer from your desktop to open it or you can also go to start button and from there you can also open My Computer.

You can easily see all drives available on my computer by just opening "My computer" option available on desktop or present in the start menu. After opening "My computer" window you can see all your drives which are available on my computer.
For example: In normally you can see following drives.

    Local Disk (C: )
    New Volume (D: )
    New Volume (E: )

    1/2 Floppy (A: )

    Compact Disc (F: )

If you are Microsoft Windows 3.x users the you have to use following steps to see all drives available on your computer.
You have to open Windows File Manager to see all drives. It is same as your windows xp. It means if you want to open C drive then click on that icon which is available above the folder and files. If you want to open CD drive the click on the CD-ROM drive icon.

If you are using MS-DOS the it will not easy to see all drives available on your computer. You have to use following step to see all drives available on your computer.
1.You have to just change drive letter.
2.During changing name of drive with alternate drive letter, if you get error message then it means that there is another drive is available. If you didn't get any error message then it means that there is no other drive.

You are using MS-DOS which supports fdisk then you have to just use "fdisk"
command to see how all the hard disk drives are setup and configured on your computer.
If you want to see drives label and serial number, then you have to use "vol" command. This command is used to view all detected drives.
