Gaming Expeirience on Alienware M11x

I want to buy a gaming pc. For this a friend had recommended me Alienware M11x. I need some information on the performance of this system. Does this is suitable to what I am looking for in the case of a portable system. The one which I carry and enjoy hd quality movies. I found this one a bit costly as compare to what I am looking for.
