To overcome this error message please do the following things:

    1. Open Control Panel from start.
    2. Choose Printers from there.
3.Choose the option of "Add a new printer".
    4. The select the option of "Add a local printer ".
    5. Please make confirm that the option of "Auto-detect" is disable.
    6. Then you need to select standard TCP/IP port.
    7. Then you need to type the IP address.
    8. After doing this your printer will be appeared as local printer and you can access it.

    Hi friend,

I recommend you to check whether the printer is properly connect with computer or not. Please make sure that the printer cable is not faulty, because this may lead to get "No devices have been detected" error message. If all these are not faulty , then I think you need to uninstall then HP printer driver and again reinstall it . Make sure that you are installing the latest HP printer driver. This may works for your printer.

    Hi ,

I have also the HP Officejet printer. And I am also troubled from the same error message i.e "No devices have been detected". I don't think that it is the computer problem. When I contacted to the HP printer manufacturer , I got answer that you need to reinstall the Device driver for the printer. I have already tried the reinstallation of the driver, but it's not working. How can get release from this error?

    Hello,

If you have already tried printer driver reinstallation, and problem is not yet solved. Then I think It is the problem of your HP printer. Please check the connection cable is connected properly or not. I think you should try your HP printer with other computer. If it works then there must be problem in your computer. Try to adjust the printer properties from the control panel. And the best way to avoid this error message is to take help of hardware engineer.
