I am also looking for a camcorder compatible with iMovie 08. I found a list of compatible camcorder on Apple's site: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1014 But I am not able to find more any information. I want to know the compatibility of the Canon FS20 or Canon FS200. Are they compatible iMovie 08? In the list there as FS10 and FS100. I also come to know that a good deal on the Panasonic SDR-S26. It is compatible from the list but no any more information on this camcorder?

These camcorders are just new so the list is still not updated ... But there is no reason that they will not work with iMovie 8. the pana is equipped with an optical stabilize, useful if you move or zoom a lot ...But ilikes the cannon ,the fs 100 good Optical Stabilizer plus well finished, simple, safe value and more also if you face some problem with i movie better you can use ilife09 .
