HP pavillion dv6000 won't turn on

I recently got hp pavillion dv6000, when i try to start it by pressing power button it shows black screen, no blue lights. I have tried to restart it two to three times but no fix... What has happened and what is the solution?Can anyone help!!!

Try to connect the charger and see if the light goes on or Try this: unplug the laptop, remove the battery, press the power button a couple times, leave it there maybe 2 minutes, make sure the RAM is properly seated, unplug every peripheral (even the cd/dvdrom drive), power it up on direct electric power.

Try charging the Battery or plugging it in, or the fuse might have gone in the power supply plug. If it does not turn on, then it could be a problem with your laptop's motherboard, or something else inside preventing it from powering on.

Can you at least see the logo of HP coming up or can you enter BIOS settings? If no then take the battery out and unplug it, push the power button, let it sit for 5 min, put the battery back in and plug it in and try and turn it on,That should reset the power unit in it.
