Maxtor hard drive noisy

Hello

i have Maxtor 300GB sata hardrive which i bought three months before.i noticesome time it get disconnecting and restart pc .also shows red light flickers and freeze some time also noise is like a squeaky sound, so please help regarding

during operation my Maxtor hard drive makes noises when running and the computer can't read the hard drive at all. I'm not sure if this is normal but looks like some hardware issue any one can identify !!?? you can identyfy sound like Whining noise during drive spin-up, regular clicking , tapping sounds during drive access or hard clicks when the drive heads park.

I have such problem with my segate hard drive, that was with Samsung Spinpoint F1 1Tb Hard drive makes a lot of noise. i have check lots of time on different computer but nothing works check here Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB Hard drive is too Noisy

Try Hard Drive diagnostic software available on internet which will only mark the areas of the hard drive that are failing or we can say bad and to prevent the computer from using them in the future. try benchmark application like HD Tach .HD Tach is a low level hardware benchmark for random access read/write storage devices such as hard drives, removable drives (ZIP/JAZZ), flash devices, and RAID arrays .also check with Hdd regenerator for bad sector else claim your warranty ..to reduce noise check this How to troubleshoot noisy Hard drive ?
