Looking for mini external modem for Dell laptop

I have a Dell laptop on which i had installed Windows Vista as my operating system I'm looking for a mini external modem for my Dell laptop. I'm not able to get any kind of information. So, can any body tell me that where can i get a mini external modem for my Dell laptop? Is any one using any mini external modem on their laptops? Let me know your suggestion on the above one.
