i am looking for RAID controllers on my computer so while searching i found this RAID controller card HighPoint RocketRAID 3120 please tell me some thing about this that about its performance and price.

This card has two internal SATA-300 ports and two external eSATA-300 ports.This card is not software RAID card so this RocketRaid 3000 family is 100% hardware RAID that having on board memory cache so performance get increase. You can able to use this card with a x4 slot also supports a x8 and a x16 slot

In hardware RAID a dedicated RAID controller are used. RocketRAID 3120 uses a Marvell 88F5182 controller chip. The four SATA ports are located at the back of the card you will find connectors for four different SATA devices , chip controls the 4 SATA II ports as well as communication with PCI-E slot.
