Dell Inspiron 6000 keyboard

I'm having a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop. The problem is that one of the key on the laptop doesn't seems to be working. So, i'm trying to replace a key on my keyboard. So, can any body tell me the how to replace a key on the Dell Inspiron 6000 keyboard? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct solution on the above issue. Any kind of help on the baove issue would be appreciated.

Virtually all computer Dell Inspiron 6000 keyboard are open to the air. For that you don't have to switch the machine off immediately and resist switching it back on. At this point you could remove the keyboard and try the machine using an external keyboard to see if anything else has been affected.

For that you need to remove the two screws under the keyboard bezel. Then try to lift the keyboard and then need to pull on the light blue tab to remove the data connector. Then you need to reverse it in order to install.

The best way according to me is to take your laptop to the dealer from where you had purchase the laptop. He might be able to help you to replace a key on your laptop. Or otherwise take your laptop to the near by service center where your damage key would be replace immediately.
