    help regarding USB tuner card

    Hi ,
    I needed to buy a USB tuner Card for my laptop ,its 14.1" screen ,can any 1 please suggest me which company is better ,INTEX,TECH COM or AverMeadia or any other .i used INTEX but its picture quality and reception is really poor.Please help me out guys

    What is your budget? The problem with USB TV tuners is that if you want to get something of good quality, you will have to push $100.

    Well my budget is b/w 2000 and 2500 and ,intex 1 i got it fr 1250 ...

    Intex is good, atleast in mumbai, but you must try pinnacle if you really adore great quality... Pinnacle TV Tuner Cards would be available upto Rs.2000/- And these cards are media center ready...

    Yes there are many other branded company where you can get good USB tuner card and that too of good quality i would suggest you to have look at Nvidia product too because there quality of pictures is very good as compared to other Tuner Card

    The USB tuners are a great solution if your computer 's the PCI slots are full, or if you want to watch TV on laptop. But some USB tuners are large enough to be awkward, especially when they have a bunch of cables sticking out of them.So for the best you can go with ATI USB Tuner.Other than a free USB port, TV Wonder requires a PC with at least a 500-MHz processor and 128MB of memory. The TV Tuner card stores video using MPEG-2 video compression in either 640 by 480 or 720 by 480 image sizes. But its little bit costlire, $99.
