Logitech Setpoint does not show keyboard tab

Hi all. I got some strange problem with my system. I had installed Logitech Setpoint 4.0 few weeks back and having Logitech Media Keyboard with Vista operating system. The problem is that Logitech Setpoint does not show keyboard tab.Troubleshooting info from Logitech has been useless so far. Could you guys help me out in this case please ? Thanks in advance.

This problem is caused byconflicting drivers between what the keyboard itself installs and what setpoint thinks it has. First of all make sure that the problem is not with your keyboard.Try using the keyboard with a some different computer to verify if it is a hardware problem.Also you might have flash installed on your system and it should of gotten installed with the SetPoint or had a option to install it.

I dont know why it is happening like that but i have some workout for this. Simple right click on My Computer from the desktop or from the Start menu and click on Device Manager. Now find the Keyboard tab in the device manager and right click on logitech HID keyboard and select Properties and click on update drivers. This will solve if the cause is due to some driver problem. I always follow this steps when i get some driver issue with my keyboards or mouse.

Try to reinstall your Logitech Setpoint again and see your keyboard tab exist or not. If not better install Setpoint 4.00. It is best for Vista.It has the compatible drivers and software that enable you to take full advantage of keyboards and mouse. It is specifically released for both 32 bit and 64bit Vista.
