    Connect SPDIF header of motherboard to external Music System

    I have a gigabyte motherboard and i have a spdif labled pins on my motherboard. I know it is used for digital output. But i don't know how to connect it to any system. Can anyone help me connect the spidf to my external music system? Thanks!

    You will need a coaxial cable. Cut one end of it and attach it to the jumper like connector that will be used for attaching on the computer's motherboard. Now attach the other end to your input of the music system. Done..! Make sure you have enabled SPDIF in volume manager and any audio software to play through SPDIF output. All the best!

    Connect the signal cable [core cable] to the SPDIF out of the motherboard and the other cable [outer mesh cable] to the GND [ground] of the motherboard. Once completed this setup, insulate all the openings so that no interference occurs. Then configure your audio softwares as mentioned above... All the best!
