Cannot print from HP 9300 printer

Hi,
I am facing problem printing with my HP 9300 printer. When i give print command it gets stuck and have to close the program. Can somebody help me?

Clean you printer and maintain it properly. It will give you problems with printing if you are not concerned with maintaining it. Have a look at http://www.printerworks.com/ for maintenance ideas.

First check the printer ports. There is a registry key on the local PC that allows all ports to be mapped. Go through this Microsoft article to get the information of ports of the printer.

Update the drivers to the latest and also check the firmware. Also check the cartridges for the ink level under printing preferences. Follow the steps below to check the printing preferences:

• Click on Start
• Go to Control Panel
• Double click on the Printer & Faxes
• Right click on printer
• Click on Printing Preferences
