Can burn DVD but cannot read it?

Hi all,
I have LG DVD writer and it was working fine. It can burn dvds successfully but cannot read it when i put it back in. Its very irritating. Anybody have any solution?

You can try lense cleaning. There are two separate lasers in most combo burners. The one for the CDs may be dirty enough that the laser can't penetrate sufficiently.

Reinstall the drivers and check for updates. Check your dvd for scratches and use good quality dvd for burning. Check on the manufactuers website for support for your model and see if they provide the firmware and software for installing the firmware.

Update or uninstall the ide drivers and updated firmware and restart. Replaced the IDE cable and reset the settings in the bios for the same. I hope it helps.
