Mouse and keyboard not recognized in vista

Hi,

I have a serious problem bothers me there, I have a new desktop computer brand Acer.

I had great difficulty in successfully detects that a keyboard or mouse, since I unplugged everything and try with others, it did not work, if i boot the sysem in "safe mode". The bluetooh combo; mouse and
keyboard work just fine, even thought it keeps asking me for the "unknown device" driver".

I tried without changing devices, after several on and off, always exactly the same thing. So I tried with other devices, this time NOTHING! It works with any, even the beginning!

Help me please!

Have you tried booting with the CD and doing a system restore to a date and time prior to the uninstall?

Hi,

If the new mouse and keyboard are not recognized, then there is a reason and I would be concerned that perhaps the USBs are bad and you may want to play around with different ones.

I am having the same exact problem. The external mouse dies after the update is installed, and the keyboard and internal touchpad die after the subsequent reboot when the drivers are hosed.
