Sound card and usb disable in Medion MD 41300

    Hello
I Have a Medion MD 41300 notebook in which I can not get sound card and usb. Have tried to reinstall the operating system (windows xp home) and drivers without success. Driver Max, all drivers updated.

    Mother Board: Medionnb WID 2010
    Intel Springdale i865PE
    Bios: Phoenix

EVEREST says my USB controllers are supported but isolated. Similarly, AC97 modem controller (sound card, I believe) supported but isolated. I Have tried to look in the bios if you can from / connect sound or usb, but it can not happen in Bios.

    What could be wrong?

Have you installed the motherboard driver - chipset? It must be installed as the first, and then the other drivers

Download it from medion site. Click more under Drivers and Updates
type 41300 in the box: MD/LT- and click Search
Get Chipset Driver for WID 2010
    Download Sound Driver WID 2010

Now there are installed windows and drivers for everything. Should I format and install on the chipset before the windows, or reinstall windows and then chipset before anything else? Have tried to install chip set after windows update and other drivers is installed but It does not help.

Try and see if you have any yellow or red exclamation mark next to some units - or under "other devices" here:
Click Start> control panel> System> click Hardware tab> click Device Manager

Opposite usb controllers are no yellow or red markings.
In addition to units for audio and video games are, after installing all the xp drivers and only one entity called: unimodem - half-duplex audio device. It has no yellow or red markings. I look in control panel under sounds and audio devices it says no audio device. Under hardware (still sounds and pieces) I can see the Realtek AC97 audio driver.
