Blue screen when playing DVD and DivX on PS3

Hello everyone,

Here is my problem.
I have a PS3 (that's good), a 24-inch Monitor B2403WS (it is also good), all connected by HDMI cable.
My problem is that when I insert a DVD (like Star Wars for example) in my PS3 and when playback starts, the screen turns blue (quite nice but rather boring) and I can not return to the menu system the console without reboot.

What's happening?
Is this a problem of setting the console or the monitor?
Is this a problem with the HDCP standard?

If someone can enlighten my outdated lantern, it will thereafter my eternal gratitude.

how the PS3 is set in display properties?
To be sure you view all, we must check 720p and 1080i. You can try 1080p but not sure it works.
In fact the problem would be the resolution sent to the screen.
Have you activated the upscale for DVD or not? (=> DVD settings: scaling: normal to activate).

The problem was setting in 1080p.
Indeed, the fact uncheck definition 1080p allows me to watch my DVDs (for I am against most of the coup in 1080p Finally we can not have everything in life ...).
I can change my DVDs quiet now, thank you again!

I had the same problem with my TFT 22 "but it was blocking me from 1080i (which the 720p work)

in fact, the PS3 will automatically hold the correct max resolution but with some screens that bug and is hold in a walk and she believes in is not (black or blue screen)
