    Printer Driver "unstable"

    My concern is this.

Whenever I connect my printer (HP 1610) on my PC (Vista), it re-installs the driver.

So when I open the printer configuration panel I have:
    HP PSC 1600
    HP PSC 1600 (copy 1)
    HP PSC 1600 (copy 2).

    Strange isn't it?

It may be that you reconnect your printer on the USB plug to avoid the problem.

    Almost always or always?

just plug it once on a different USB port for Windows detects a new printer.
At that time, he relocated. This is normal!

    Well, I did not know.
At the same time, when I connect my iphone to my PC, it recognizes in a row, regardless of the port?

In fact, it depends on the driver manufacturer. Some drivers re-install a new printer if you change the port, others do not! I have seen this happen with some printers mainly.

I have a lot of USB Device, and it is generally true that the port is not important, the driver makes the connection automatically.
