    HDMI and DVI

I plugged my computer with my TV and I have a Radeon HD 4870
I have a Bravia 32" HD Ready TV

    1) I wanted to know if there were losses if there was a hdmi to dvi with an adapter
    2) Is it the same thing if I still hdmi / hdmi against dvi / dvi? Finally, in terms of quality it will not change anything?

With this kind of cable you will not get sound on the TV, even if the computer video quality is the same (this is the case), a DVI cable would be better.

    Re: HDMI and DVI

My TV is connected to DVI / DVI. I have only 2 DVI port on my graphics card
and I intend to purchase a 2nd computer screen. I will therefore want 1 screen 22" to play
1 screen 19 "to make application, desktop firefox etc. ..
and 32" TV is when the family is about to see a film or do something else

so I'll put 2 screen to dvi and pass the tv to hdmi but there was an adapter that hanging hdmi / dvi and I will connect this adapter hdmi on the new motherboard that I bought and connected a dvi cable / dvi on my tv
    basically everything is in dvi

    I hope you understood me

In fact I want whether it is possible to save with the HD 4870 graphics card

    1 screen 19" in dvi
    1 screen 22" in dvi

Motherboard on: 32" tv with hdmi

    Re: HDMI and DVI

In fact, you have a hdmi port on the motherboard, if I understood? But you can not use it if there is a graphic card present in the primary PCIe bus.

if not for a tv hd ready: vga-dvi-hdmi there will be no difference in the results display. the worst that can happen is with the hdmi, you see some display bugs (fullscreen impossible unwanted interpolations, etc ...)
