Hi friends,
I am facing an issue while printing.My home printer is not working so i decided to save the file with .prn format and have a print out from outside.When i went out and gave a print command i got an error message as cannot print this file.
Can anyone help me out with this issue it would be great for me.Thanks in advance

Intel Dual core 2.66 Ghz
gigabyte 780 with Intel Chipset
2gb ram
256 Nvidia Graphic Card
500gb HDD

Sure i will help you out with this issue,Since you are not able to print the file it seems that .prn file is being corrupted.Try to open file by right click to highlight it and select print.

I try to do the above mentioned things but it didn't worked out for me and i am sure my files are not being corrupted any other solution please.

I was also facing such kind of issue i tried to do the following this and it worked for me hope.I am sure it will also worked for you.
- Open Command Prompt by Start - -> Run and type cmd.
- Type the following code in the command prompt
copy file_name .prn lpt1:
- Now you would be able to get the printout of the same.

I am also facing such kind of issue but i am having an Network Printer can you tell me what i need to do in this case.

Sure if you have a network Printer you need to follow the below steps:-
- First Go to Printer Settings, and share the printer. Give a short name for your printer.
- Open Command Prompt by Start - -> Run and type cmd.
- Type the following code in the cmd
- c:\> net use lpt2: \\192.168.0.15 \short_name
- Now copy the file which you need to print it.
- c:\>copy file_name.prn lpt2:
