HP C4180 does not work on Vista

Hello,
I have an HP C4180 All-In-One connected via USB001 on a PC windows XP, everything is ok. I bought a laptop - Windows Vista. I installed the printer with the CD (for Vista) and drivers from the Hp site. connection (port USB001) I wanted to do a test print nothing happens, the printer icon appears in the bottom right of the screen but there is nothing in the spool while the spooler is started and in automatic mode. What's happening? Thank you in advance for your help

Have you process with the installation procedure recommended by HP,and do not connect the printer when the installer is running ? and other necessary procedure.

Yes, I follow the document of the installation process. What surprises me is that after starting the printing, a message appears: "the job was sent to printer C4180 etc.", but 0 document to print? Thank you for your help

Reboot the PC leaving the printer turned on and repeat the printing job . Also check the side of the Device Manager, there is no exclamation point at the printer.also tell me about any other error / sympton you would like to tell us

Bizarre, normally there is no problem to install Vista on an HP. Uninstalls everything concerning your printer through Programs and Features, restart the PC and repeat your installation by right clicking on the. Exe and run as administrator. Also check in Services that the Print Spooler is started automatically.

I canceled everything and reinstalled. the spooler is started 'and' automatic '.it is working fine.Thank you for your help
