    MS Comfort Keyboard 4000 problem

I bought a keyboard/mouse combo (Comfort Keyboard 4000 and Laser Mouse 5000) D/L 6.3 software and the mouse works great. No problems with it or the driver.

However, the keyboard's media and function keys don't work.

I'm no XP ninja, but then again I'm no idiot either and nothing I've done is working.

    Anyone else hit this snag?
    Any suggestions?

For the function keys, you have to hit the "f lock" button near the calculator key. When "f lock" is off, f1 works bringing up help, but the function keys would not.

I think this may be related to the fact that certain key codes are not defined in the kernel for "microsoftpro"/"microsoftprousb" keyboards.

As far as I can see this is not really a bug of hotkey-setup, but rather some other package(s). See this related blog http://jtsang.mvps.org/flock.html
