USB wont work on HP 4150 after formatting

Hello, after formatting the pc, usb port does not works any more, I tried to find the drivers for the machine but no driver is available for xp if someone has an idea please help me. Thank you

I would advise you to install the W2K APIC Bios for the 4150.
you'll have to go to http://productfinder.support.hp.com/...=11&Submit.y=6 and choose which type of 4150 you have and then download the file.

If you have Windows 2000 you need to update the BIOS of the 4150 to the latest version for Windows 2000. I had exactly the same problem - but mine is a dual boot NT4.0 and 2000 system. The BIOS update listed on the HP website does not mention fixes relating to the USB and COM1 ports, but HP support confirmed the new BIOS fixes these problems with Windows 2000 and also confirmed that the BIOS update is backward compatible with NT4.0.

The BIOS also fixes problems relating to the shutdown features of the 4150.
