We have 2 network printers that are on 2 PC and each printer is installed on a PC using USB. A scanner is connected to the PC 1 and to use it you must turn off the power of 2 printers.
Have you a solution to this problem?

Network printers should not be simultaneously be connected to network and via a usb. (that is what I understood)
Thank you for your answer.
Our 2 printers work well even in the network and at the same time. Scanner just do not function along with others.
The error reported is "The cable may not be connected correctly or the scan may be off. Using a parallel cable that supports bidirectional communication IEEE-1284."
Then once reconnected printer, the scanner is working well.
Possibly a bug in software or drivers, however I do not see any conflict
But what are your OS? If you use Vista with old drivers, this is normal.
From what I understand you have 2 network printer. When you print it works without problem! But when you want the scanner, it does not work anymore! For the scanner I urge you to go through a browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer you can type "http://ip address of the printer". Check the configuration if there is one. If everthig is normal you should be able to scan.
