Dvd writer's pin broken, need help !

I got Intel 915 motherboard. My dvd writer was not detected when I switch on my PC. So, i opened and see my motherboard and noticed that 1 of the pins of data cable of DVD writer connected to motherboard was broken.

And now i can't use my Dvd writer , can it be repaired or what shud i do ?

It can be repaired! but make sure you give the board to an expert! And repairing would void if there is any warranty. so if the motherboard is still in warranty, try to give it for warranty center first! all the best!

I don't think you it would be in Warranty because physical damage don't come under company's warranty.Have a try if not than give it to local engineer who can fix your problem.

if you gonna take my advice.............
this kind of problems.......... do comes with new solution .........
i mean u need SUPERIOR skills to do that. and note that gold and solder dun bond will not help in this kind of cases...........
so i suggest to show it to an hardware expert or else Buy a new one
