PC remote control needed

Hello,
I am new here but I would install a system with a remote control (like on TV) on my pc.
that is, for example when I watch a movie I change the volume, to pause, forward ... Finally, what all this from my bed ..
something else, I use vista so I looking for something that is compatible with vista ...

to see if you have media center, you start clicking and you type "media center" in the search box ... I think it works in vlc also ..

yes it is normally compatible with vlc
