    Could you please check the disks?

    - Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd)
    - Enter the command: "chkdsk DISK: /r"

    where DISK is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that
    checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

    tell us what does it find bad sectors ?

    please do the following:

    - Create Acronis Report (it will create one small - several Kbs - text file);
    - Open it with Notepad;
    - Choose "Edit" -> "Find" and input the word "bad" (without quotation marks);
    - Find all strings "BadBlockCount" and see what number is written on this string.

    Please let us know the result of your test. Please note that Acronis Report doesn't send any information to Internet, doesn't create any registry entries, etc (however, you may trace it using appropriate software).

    Thank you.

    bad blocks = time for a new drive. Just buy a new hard drive and clone your old drive to the new and then partition the new how you want it.

    why not try easeus partition master, it can help you resize the partition even if there is bad sector. If there are too many bad sectors, you can use the copy function to copy the hard drive to other one, I used this product, free but powerful. how to copy, download http://www.easeus-software.com/download/epm.zip

    @ sagar2dumbre

    I think you need to spend those 10hrs to find out the location of the badsector & then you can repair bad sectors of your hard disk using HDD Regenerator v1.51 itself. Dont look fo9r any other software. That is what I can suggest you.

    Hope this helps you.
