New HD install on windows vista ...

I bought a hard disk 500giga again, I have replaced the old 160 ... the hard disk is ATA.
Now I wanted to install the operating system (Windows Vista) ... how should I do?

Is this attachment is good in your view?
I have a AMD Athlon dual core 4200 + 2.21gh
motherboard M2N MX SE plus
ram 2 GB

Boot frm your XP cd and follow the instruction.
