On right click menu is not open - problem with mouse

I have a mouse of microsoft

i am facing a problem from 15 days
when i press the right click of my mouse menu does not open

after press force fully the menu open.

These problems could have been expected if the mouse right click was not working at all. But in this case, the right click is working after pressing it hard. This is the hardware problem internal of the mouse. A much used old mouse tend to become somewhat insensible in terms of hardware. It could also because of accumulation of dust inside the hardware that makes it sluggish in responding.

To ensure this, check with the other mouse on the same system. If the other mouse also gives the same problem, then it can be a system problem as Expertz said. If not, then its surely is the problem with the mouse hardware as Hardwareman said.
