Canon Mp760 Error

I have a problem with CANON MP 760 printer. With one blow to start it makes a noise like machine gun and displays the message 'Error. Turn off and then turn (see manual). There is nothing in the manual. I tried several stops and restarts without success.

Can anyone have idea ?

Is there reset button on your printer ?

Not reset button to my knowledge. It is no longer guaranteed purchase in 2004 so I would like to avoid service that might cost me more than the price of the printer
