Install SATA hard disk on A8N-E

A little quick question because I never n'ais installs SATA hard disk.
If I want to install Windows XP on a SATA hard drive (WD Raptor) on an A8N-E SATA which is managed by the nForce4, is the SATA hard disk will be recognized immediately? Normally, you have to press F6 to install specific drivers but there is none for the nForce4 because they settled after Windows ....

I am not on the manip. Can anyone confirm what to do exactly?

    Thanks

With the card is delivered a floppy disk. If there is no floppy disk you must create it by using the method on the notice board. It can vary. Sometimes you just have to copy the drivers.
It must have or make the disk before removing XP.
F6 will call the disk and nothing else. It is not intended to indicate the path on a CD.
This is the disk or you stay behind.

No floppy with the motherboard. And no possibility of creating a CD disk with the motherboard. Moreover, there is nothing on the site on ASUS SATA drivers for the motherboard A8N-E .... That is why I wonder whether the disc will be recognized directly

Without driver placed on the disk you can not do anything.
Each driver is specific to the CM. No question of taking one for the other.
I do not know exactly when your exit is CM but Sata is operational for almost 2 years ... about!
If your CM accepts SATA is necessarily included in the notice ... obviously. And in this case how to create the disk is, too. Generally last page!

No need to install drivers for a SATA disk on NForce 4! As the raid nvidia is not activated it is run natively so do not worry!
