    HD disappeared after a merger with Partition Magic

    I wanted to merge the two partitions (E: and F my HD "DATA" using PartitionMagic 8.0.
    During the operation, I had a * ^ # error message and since the 2 partitions no longer appear on my desktop (although SD "DATA" is recognized in the BIOS).

    I have attempted a recovery with GetDataBack but recovered files are mostly corrupt .

    please help !

    strange, Get a DataBack software, you do not recover ...

    Do not touch anything and wait for more expert .

    I used Active Partition Recovery like you advised. I did a Super Scan (on the Maxtor) and that's what happens:
