    question Plz help me in upgradin ma PC.......!

    Hi everybody.............!

    I m plainin to upgrade ma PC.........so i need ur help frnds......

    I m planin to get:-
    Intel Core 2 duo 2.53 E7200.........

    2x1gb of Kingston RAM......

    A better Mobo...............plz guyz suggest a gud 1
    i was planin for Intel's DG31PR..but i found in many places dat it has got some serious probs.....

    A gud cabinet n PSU................sme gud suggestions welcomed..

    17'' Viewsonic TFT LCD Screen VA1703wb..

    250 Gig of HDD (Hitachi, Segate or WD)

    My confusion is mainly wid the mobo n casing....i don play high end games...just some light ones which doesnt require a dedicated graphic.....but suggest a gud one i ll b gettin one latterz.....i m an Engg. student so der are some proj works to be done too..... i have a printer HP F4185 so i ll be usin it...i often watch movies on ma PC.....planin to use Win XP pro.....but ll get Vista smetimes latter.....i also do some graphic works on Photoshop n Corel Draw.....i hav least knowledge abut OCing so i wont be tryin it...n i don think i need to for this config as compared to my need...

    Any suggestins regardin the change in this config is welcomed.....

    My budget is around 23-24k not more than dat....

    star not what i asked for..........

    thanx for ya reply i got the prices .................but it was not the answer what i was expecting.....
    i asked for a better n a proper motherboard for ma pc.....i mean a gud manufacturer.........a gud chipset and so on......n if possible the model no.
    ne ways u replied n for dat thanx..........!!

    Motherboard for Intel Core 2 duo E7200

    Asus P5Q and Asus P5Q PRO which are the cheapest P45 chipset based mobo. and both are real good.

    Other options are:
    • Abit IP35-E

    PSU suggestion for Intel Core 2 duo:

    The PSU is the most important piece of hardware in a system...everything depends on it! It is NOT the place to be cutting corners. And do not base a PSU on wattage. 700W menas nothing if the amperage distribution isn't right. One trick manufacturer's use to falsely bump up the wattage rating is to load up on the +5v rail. If you see much more than 25-30A on the +5v rail, you'd do best to steer clear.

    If you remember your high school science,

    watts = volts x amps

    If you see a PSU with 50A on the +5v rail, that can account for as much as 250W of the overall rating. What uses the +5v rail these days?? not much.

    BTW, a 700 W PSU is advisable for this processor.
