Sound problem on Abit motherboard

I am not able to hear any sound on my new Abit IX38 Quad GT motherboard. I didn't received any error message from the system, not even any device is conflicting. Tested my headphones with my friends computer and didn't found any problem.

What could be the reason behind unable to hear any sound? Please help me.

I assume you might be having older driver versions. So, update your sound drivers and see if that works.
