I have received my setup yesterday, a friend advised me to format and move the HDD to windows in AHCI performance. Is this really interesting, do I really need to format? How to enable AHCI? Can you enlighten me on this?

You must already know if you have this feature in the BIOS of your motherboard. You have to confirm this first.

Hey, is it dangerous to do so with an OS installed ? Will there be the issues of Genre BSOD?

The only danger is that it does not restart. You must have data backup before as a precaution in case you would have the blue screen.
