    Ram Troubleshooting

I just bought a second pair of 1GB sticks for his PC. When I tested in three slots, everything was fine. But as soon as we tried with the 4th stick ,my pc got hang and when I restarted ,OS is not loading.
There was no issue with the 3 sticks, only when I added the 4th problem started.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening and what can be done to resolve it?

    Hi,

Try to set the RAM up manually, particularly the RAM voltage according to the higher that OCZ recommend for either.

What OS are you running, 32 bit or 64 bit?
32 bit can only use 3.25 GB. You need 64 bit to utilize all your 4 ram.

See the link below, if it helps you.
