Since the GTA V 1.03 update on PS4 and Xbox One, several owners of the Sony console are affected by the CE-34878-0 error, preventing them to play the game. Rockstar has made an extra solution to this problem.
Since the release of the new version of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the owners of the Sony console are confronted with technical problems. Indeed, there was talk of a concern for CE-32937 error connection during the download of the update "day one" of the game, a second error was introduced with the 1.03 patch stamped.
If this update of the game was released in view of getting rid of the above -named error, some players on PS4 is now confronted with a CE-34878-0 error.
In this regard, Rockstar has officially made an extra solution through its support site Sony, relaying several procedures which should be tried as mentioned:
- Step 1: Close the application, install the latest system software and game update, and restart the system.
- Step 2: If a PS Camera is connected to the system, remove it and reboot the system, then go to [Settings] > [User] > [Login Settings] and turn "Enable Face Recognition" OFF.
- Step 3: If you have upgraded the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) in your console, please re-install the original HDD.
- Step 4: If the error occurs again, back up your saved data, and then go to [Settings] > [Initialization] and choose [Initialize PS4].
- Step 5: If the error continues and occurs with every application, or as soon as the application starts, please contact PlayStation Support.
Other players who are not affected by the above error simply cannot begin the title due to a load that blocks around 20%. Others find themselves with weapons disappearing in their inventory.
In short, Rockstar has once again offered a patch to its game, with a view to stabilize the Sony console.
