Canon PowerShot S100
PowerShot S100 is the upgraded version of PowerShot S95 that was a great success from the company in professional and operability specifications. Powershot S100 is the 3rd generation camera from the series after S90 and S95. The upgrade made in this device is the largely centered key devices, such as image sensors and optics. Other major upgrade is the Loading and GPS, but the most important is its new body color, i.e. silver and Black. Although uneven and not very big, S100 is equipped with non-slip resin that makes it more reliable to hold. The area near the right thumb on backside of the camera is made up with non-slip material. Width 98.9mm, height 59.8mm, 26.7mm depth becomes less than 0.9mm small 1.4mm 2.8mm high if compared with PowerShot S95. You can feel the difference as long as the weight (including battery, memory card) 189g that is not at all comparable with previous cameras of this series. In addition, the high-speed 4-channel readout, capable of shooting with frames at a speed of 9.6 seconds / also "HQ high-speed continuous shooting." Enjoy continuous shooting of up to 8 pixel full frame. As in the past, it’s both stylish and complete texture with the body. Traditional color is black as described above, Silver is the new lineup.

Canon PowerShot S95:
Canon PowerShot series of recent models would be particularly impressive with PowerShot S90. Combination of the lens of the 10MP and CCD F2 to open 1/1.7 was conscious of high sensitivity, yet stylish and thin. 1/1.7 type CCD makes the 10 MP PowerShot S90 more effective than any previous model. it is liberal to high sensitivity. Interface also has been passed down ‘control ring’ a maniac that rotates the lens base. Appearance has not changed from PowerShot series. However texture on the front side has been changed to non-slip texture. But the biggest changed made in this device is the button layout on the top of the body. The PowerShot S90 has function button than call button and power button and finally control ring that is RING FUNC in order. One of the improvements from the PowerShot S95 is equipped with a hybrid it IS. Hybrid IS as you know; the camera shake correction mechanism has come from powerful Canon 100mm F2.8 L Macro IS USM EF.

Nikon Coolpix S9100:
Nikon Coolpix S9100 is one of the best models in COOLPIX S series. Slim model that combines high magnification back-illuminated CMOS sensor and 18x optical zoom lens, the zoom magnification is the highest in the COOLPIX S series, but also wide range of additional functions. The image pickup element 1/2.3 type of back-illuminated CMOS sensor with 12.1 million pixels. It is a product given a combination of 18x optical zoom lens, the basic model and enhanced various functions of the model ‘COOLPIX S8100’. This Camera is unique as a topic, the point would have increased zoom ratio lens from 10x optical to 18x optical so far. High magnification as slim machine of this kind will be the top-level zoom ratio, including other companies. There is only advanced machine, the top body is also provided with a dial mode. Although I do not think the camera frequently switch the shooting mode, the dial mode is fun to have a moderate weight and click feel, and to manipulate. There is a good operability of the rotary multi selector. I think people dislike the turning this type of large hand controller, but now it has became lot easier to use. In addition, it also can be taken in hand (high dynamic range) HDR of the epidemic. You can specify the on / off, "HDR" when shooting in "backlight mode". But it takes 20 seconds to complete the shot that may not be able to adjust the strength of the effectiveness, or it may become slightly narrower angle of view to be seen.
