Re: Corsair X-Series SSDs firmware update

If you have firmware version 2.0 or firmware vision 1.1 on X-256 installed, please ignore this post.

If you have troubles flashing the drive and you are getting any errors like "Firmware flash failed" or "invalid drive" or something related and you desire to send the drive to Corsair to have us flash it, please take note of the serial number on your drive.

WHILE SENDING THE DRIVE PLEASE REMINDER TO TAKE THE SERIAL NUMBER FROM THE STICKER, AND NOT FROM SOFTWARE

formerly you have this serial number, please go to our TSX program, situated here:

now you have to just go behind the on-screen guide to get your RMA return number.

BEFORE SENDING YOUR DRIVE TO SERVICE CENTER, IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED PLEASE BACK UP ANY PRECIOUS DATA AND THEN ONLY WIPED OUT THE DRIVE.
