LGNPST - LG Programming Ap - Flashing Firmware

LGNPST is a programs which can be used to update firmware of LG mobile phones. It can also be used to perform other data functions on newer LG phones. But make sure that you know what you are going to do with this software or you may stuck your phone in a serious problem.
    • First of all go to an official website of LGNPST and download it. Install it, I am using LGNPST v1.1 lab for this tutorial.
    • Search suitable firmware for your phone which includes dll and bin format files out of which you have to make sure that the dll is made for LGNPST, So download it and move them to the in C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\model
    • You have to execute LGNPST dll installer file or you may register the dll files manually. (File -> Select DLL below)
    • Connect your Mobile phone after assuring that your system has all the latest drivers.

    • After running the LGNPST you would be getting your phone in the list and suppose there is nothing like your phone’s model then it might be causing due to the lack of LG USB driver.
    • If there is an “UNKNOWN” for your phone model in the File -> Select DLL -> Enter the .dll file. And if nothing is there then it means DLL file wasn't registered properly.
    • Go to the Provision Tab and click on an Update.
    • Click on the Folder Icon which would be just next to the BIN file and load the proper BIN file.
    • Click on the Start Button.

Now your phone display a message like "Downloading...Do Not Unplug!!!" and your phone probably gets rebooted. After completion of this process, Your phone has been successfully updated.

Re: LGNPST - LG Programming Ap - Flashing Firmware

    • First of all download and install the LNPST on your system
    • Then you have to just find the appropriate firmware for the phone that you are using
    • And make sure that you are downloading the firmware from the LG site since the phone that you are having is LG
    • Either run LGNPST dll installer for your phone or manually register the dll file
    • Then connect the phone of yours
    • At last Run LGNPST
    • You should see the phone in the list - if you do not then you did not load the LG USB driver
    • This will definitely help you to get some information
