computer science syllabus for ONGC

I am studying Computer Science and I am looking to attend for ONGC Gradute Trainee that is going to be held in this year. So, can anyone tell me how do I prepare for the ONGC entrance exam to be held in this year. Also if anyone can send me the syllabus for computer science for this exam. Also, please tell me what all study material or any prescribed books to start for my preparation as soon as a I can. If anyone can help me out then it will be helpful. Thanks

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam and interview. You can also check the test pattern that is given below. Note that this is going to be a tough exam and you will need to study hard to get through. The test duration consists of 3 hours as well. Below is the sections of Exam:

The test is based on objective as well as subjective (descriptive):
1) General Awareness (50 Marks)
a. 50 Objective Questions (40 which is to be attempted, 1 Mark each)
b. 2 Descriptive Type Questions (5 Marks Each)

2) Subject Specialization (100 Marks)
a. 75 Objective Questions (60 to be attempted, 1.5 mark each)
b. 2 Descriptive Type Questions (5 Marks Each)

There is also some specialization section that has some questions from the discipline in which the candidate has completed the degree for eligibility like Electrical, Mechanical, etc.

Normally the syllabus of ONGC consists of General Awareness that consists of 50 marks with 50 questions. Then there is Specialization subject that consists of 100 marks with 100 questions. Lastly there will also be Aptitude test that consists of 50 marks with 50 questions. The total time to complete this exams will be 3 hours only and there are 200 total number of questions with 200 total number of marks. Hope this helps you out.
