    EAMCET cut off marks and rank to get in Top 10 Engineering Colleges

    I have recently completed my HSC examination and have also wrote EAMCET. I got a rank in 10000+ in the EAMCET examination. So, I wanted to know in which top 10 engineering colleges can I apply for? Also please tell me what are the courses that will be demanding in the future? Please help me to find the top colleges and also some other things mentioned. Thanks for any information in advance.

    Below are some of the top Engineering colleges in Hyderabad and you can apply for it after you have completed your 12th examination:

    1. Deccan college of engineering and technology
    2. Mahaveer institute of science and technology
    3. Maturi venkata subbarao engineering college
    4. J.B institute of engineering and technology
    5. SS college of information technology & engineering
    6. Mahathma gandhi institute of technology
    7. Vignana jyothi Institute of Engineering & technology
    8. Chaitanya Bharatji institute of technology

    It will be good if you go to Universities first and after that you can go for private institutes like SVU College of Engineering. The rank awarded for EAMCET is based on both the IPE percentage and EAMCET marks and hence you will have to score good in both of them. Normally the IPE 25% marks will be considered along with the EAMCET 75% marks and that is why you will have to perform good in both examinations. Also to get a Seat in the top engineering colleges you need to have a rank less than 5000 and cut off marks would be 120 marks in EAMCET.

    For the SC/ST category you will need to score around 90-100 marks in EAMCET and also 90% in IPE and then only you will get a seat in the below mentioned Institutes and Universities. For OBC category you need to score around 100-110 marks in EAMCET and 90% in IPE and for General category you will have to score a minimum of 120 marks along with 95% in IPE and then only you can get into the below institutes and universities:
    • Osmania University
    • CBIT
    • Vasavi college of engineering
    • Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(Kakinada,Hyderabad,Ananthapur)
    • Andhra University
    • Bapatla College of Engineering
    • SVU College of Engineering
    • Vignan Laura Institute of Technology
    • Maharaja College of Engineering
