Marine Engineering courses after completing 12th standard

I am soon going to finish my 12th standard exam and after this I am looking to join Marine Engineering. Can anyone tell me what are the courses offered in Marin Engineering? Also what all procedure are required for the entrance exam for joining this course? It would be really helpful if someone out there can help me out. Thanks

You can easily get admission in Marine Engineering. All you need to do is go through TS Chanakya. But for this you will have to clear entrance exam of IIT. There will be no different exam of TS Chanakya. You will get selected in this at the basis of rank you got in the IIT. Or else you can also go through IMU but for that you have to clear its entrance exam first.

There are many colleges for Marine Engineering and some of the top colleges are listed below:

1. MERI KOLKATA
2. T.S.CHANAKYA,MUMBAI
3. MERI MUMBAI
4. Indian Institute of Technology ,Bombay.

But for getting into this colleges you will have to give IIT-JEE and qualify in it and also apply in advance via their different form. Once you are qualified then you will be called for interview.

The eligibility criteria for Marine Engineering is that students who are studying Science Stream at 10+2 level will be only eligible. You will also need to score 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for all categories. If you are doing any Vocational or Diploma course then you will not be eligible. The age should not be less than 17 years and the maximum age is 20 years only.
