Which company should I prefer for DB2 UDB DBA, IBM or Verizon?

So the title is in front of you all I am currently working as DB2 UDB DBA and I got two offers to work with one is the IBM-bangalore and the other is the Verizon Chennai? So I am just confused which company would be better and in which company would I get a better growth? I really don’t want to miss my opportunity and hence that’s the reason why I have come over here and asked this question with you all.

So please guys do help me in clearing out my confusion.

Of course I would say IBM anytime you can go with that anytime it’s a good company and hence I would recommend you to go with. Frankly speaking I haven’t heard much about the Verizon one. So that’s why I cant tell you much about it.

Practically speaking IBM has a more global presence than the Verizon. Also you can do some research in internet regarding these 2 companies. As far as the growth and opportunities are concerned both of them are very good in it. so you won’t complain that in any of these companies. Since ibm has a good global presence I would say you better go with the IBM.

So IBM would be my option for you.

I came upon some of my friends who are already working on IBM and they are really happy with it. however you and my friends are in totally different backgrounds. Since you are in IT and they are in a back office type of stuff. As the above user said IBM has a good global presence and it is a IT company as opposed to the Verizon which is a telecom company. So I think IBM is a better option for you. All the best my friend.
