Which is better, Bank PO or Bank IT Officer?

Friends I happened to clear my both bank po as well as bank IT officer written examination, so I need to know which of the fields would be better that’s what I want to know from you all. I am highly confused so I want you all to be specific and remove my confusion.

It depends upon you dude with which you want to go each of them has their own pros and cons. So that’s not a big thing at all. You decide with which you want to go ask your family or friends and then take a decision.

I would say IT officer has a edge over the Probationary Officer. Simply because IT officer has a good growth over the time period that he/she is working in the bank. Well the same expectancy of growth cannot be seen in the probationary officer. So I would say IT officer better then PO.

Well that’s my opinion at the end you will have to make some hard hitting decisions about your career.

I don’t have much idea of both of them but all I can say is that if you are good in technical department and love IT then do not hesitate to go with Bank IT officer.

I don’t see a good profile for the probationary officer. Simply because I have heard from one of my friends probationary officer are also called as substitutional officer. He/she will be a pending officer at the bank where the person is working means the pending work will be piled upon him/her to complete it. probationary officer will have to occupy one seats rotationally if there is no other work then, it can be a Fixed Deposit Seat, Government Section Scroll Seat, Transfer Seat, etc well the job of IT officer is not like that he will have to handle the technical department separately and in a place like bank you don’t find good techies out there. So its your place to enjoy there.

Well you can take some counseling help, in case if you are a bit confused with your career. That will give a better insight regarding both these options that you have finalized and will help you in deciding with which one you should go.
