Can anyone sned me across the Previous year papers of ONGC exam or the Patter of exam. Any infromation on ONGC exam patter will be a gre8 help. looking forward to get something from you people.

Paper pattern for the ONGC exam is given in the attachment file if need the exact previous papers then you have to mention the location from which you giving the exam and also the department of ONGC for which you are giving exam.

I was able to get the ONGC Sample Paper for the month of August 2008 Mumbai which I am attaching below. It contains all the questions that was asked at that examination time. Download it and use a winrar software to extract the content from it. Hope that helps

ONGC will not give syllabus for the exam. The detail of written test of the ONGC for GT recruitment is written below. The test contains objective as well as subjective/descriptive type questions. There will be two sections of the written test:

1) General Awareness (50 Marks):

a. 50 Objective Questions (40 to be attempted, Each question carry 1 Mark)
b. 2 Descriptive Type Questions (Each question carry 5 Marks)

2) Engineering Subject Specialization (100 Marks)

a. 75 Objective Questions (60 to be attempted, 1.5 mark each)
b. 2 Descriptive Type Questions (5 Marks Each)

The specialization section will contain questions from the engineering discipline in which the candidate has completed the degree i.e. Electronics, Mechanical etc. For specialization section you should follow entire syllabus of your B.Tech. in ECE. You just have to read all the core papers of your B.Tech. course.
